Riders can usually adjust settings such as pedal-assist levels or throttle sensitivity through the controller.
  4. Pedal Assist Sensors (PAS): Many e-bikes feature pedal-assist systems, which provide power assistance to the rider based on their pedaling input. Pedal assist sensors detect the force and speed of pedaling, then signal the motor to provide assistance accordingly. This makes pedaling easier and more efficient, especially when climbing hills or riding against strong headwinds.
  5. Throttle (Optional): Some e-bikes also come equipped with a throttle, allowing riders to control the motor's power output directly without pedaling. Throttles can be twist-grip or thumb-operated, similar to those found on motorcycles or scooters. They provide instant power delivery, making it easier to start from a standstill or maintain speed without pedaling.
  6. Display Console: E-bikes often feature a display console mounted on the handlebars, which provides riders with important information such as speed, distance traveled, battery level, and assist mode. Riders can use the display to monitor their ride metrics and adjust settings as needed.
